West Stockwith: Katie is chosen to be part of High School Musical at the Auditorium

A young dancer from West Stockwith has successfully auditioned for a place in this summer’s production of High School Musical to be staged at Grimsby Auditorium.

Katie Credland, 13, won the coveted place in the chorus and will have four performances over two days in early August.

The cast will rehearse for 10 days before.

Katie, 13, is a student at Retford Oaks Academy, where she is a member of the Gifted and Talented dance group.

She has danced at Epworth Performing Arts Academy since she was three.

More recently joined The Studio tap crew in Gainsborough.

She regularly performs in West Stockwith’s annual pantomime and other village shows.

The Summer Youth Musical at the Auditorium provides a chance for young people of all abilities to gain an insight into the creative and challenging aspects of theatre and perform live.

The show is on at Grismby Auditorium on 7th and 8th August at 2pm and 7pm on both days.
