The 18-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist was discovered and mentored by producer/songwriter to the stars Eliot Kennedy, and admits it’s great to work with such a renowned producer.

He said: “Working with Eliot is such a great thing to be part of. You learn so much from just being in the studio watching them make songs, learning about song structure and production.”

The self proclaimed Beatles fan’s music style is a real mishmash of old meets new, “Pop music with a little bit of jazz and little bit of swing,” he told us.

Max added: “I love the Beatles but I’m also a fan of modern music like Bruno Mars and Olly Murs, so everything mashed together I suppose.”

Max’s debut single ‘Obvious’, was released earlier this month, and the youngster admits he knew it was the perfect song straight away.

He said: “Obvious is a song Eliot wrote and I loved it as soon as I heard it. He played it to me in the studio and I wanted to sing it straight away and make it my own.”
