The event is a highlight in the Notts’ Easter calendar and is a celebration of local food.

It will highlight small artisan businesses with a food fair, a kitchen theatre offering hourly demonstrations by Notts chefs and an Easter egg hunt for children.

“We’re delighted be back at Thoresby”, said organiser Alison Lowe of Nottingham-based Adelanta Events.

“We have some terrific stalls lined up for the event; some of our favourite regulars and a few new companies too. The majority of the stallholders are from Notts and South Yorkshire, with some coming from the neighbouring counties too.”

“ We work hard to make sure that we have a good balance of stalls selling a variety of high-quality foods.”

“As the FoodFest takes place the week before Easter, we hope that visitors will see it as an opportunity to stock up for their Easter feast.”

The FoodFest is on 12th and 13th April. Entry is free and it runs from 10am-4pm.
