The Princess and the Pea at Sheffield’s Crucible Studio Theatre
Children’s fairy tales are providing the inspiration for most of the shows during the festive season.
A magical retelling of The Princess and the Pea will be staged by tutti frutti at Sheffield’s Crucible Studio Theatre from December 10 until January 3.
Director Wendy Harris said: “At the heart of the story of The Princess and the Pea is the search for a real princess - so we thought it would be interesting to explore the idea of how we search for the truth and also find out what it means by ‘real’.
