South Yorks: The Charlatans, Basement Jaxx and Wu Tang Clan top the bill for this weekend’s Tramlines Festival in Sheffield

The Charlatans, Basement Jaxx and Wu Tang Clan headline a stellar line-up for this weekend’s Tramlines Festival in Sheffield.

They join more than 30 acts on the bill, including The Streets frontman Mike Skinner, critically-acclaimed DJ/producer Erol Alkan, The Sugarhill Gang, the Buzzcocks, Melle Mel & Scorpio, Martha Reeves and Billy Bragg.

Also appearing this year are BBC Introducing band Aquilo, Charlotte OC, rising jazz stars GoGo Penguin, Glaswegian duo Honeyblood, Rolo Tomassi and Ultimate Painting.

Meanwhile, the popular folk forest will feature sets by, amongst others, Ezra Furman, Polar Bear and alt-folk outfit This Is The Kit and Scott Matthews.

Tramlines runs from Friday (26th July) until Sunday (28th July).
