Hayseed Dixie began in the summer of 2000 in East Tennessee, initially playing the traditional country music.
All of this changed abruptly one afternoon when a stranger crashed his car into a old oak tree near their town and sadly died.
But his legacy lives on as the band discovered, while searching through the wreckage, several vinyl AC/DC albums.
After playing these back on an old Edison Victrola, everyone agreed that the songs were right fine country music.
Most recently, Hayseed Dixie are exploring the inspired catalogue of the stadium rock of the 1970s and 1980s.
This interest began during a 2014 Spring tour of Germany, in which the band heard the song Eye of the Tiger six different times on six different German radio stations in a single day while driving between Dortmund and Frankfurt.
Meanwhile, Livewire are the unique six-man tribute to AC/DC, complete with trademark cannons, a wall of Marshalls and two hours of high voltage rock.
With hit after hit, the songs go on and on until the cannons fire ceremoniously to bring the evening to a memorable close.
The gig is on Saturday, October 10 and tickets are £20 in advance and available now from the box office on 08444 4772000 or online at http://tinyurl.com/nced6ev
