Ryton Chorale air madrigals and jazz numbers at concert

Madrigals and jazz with a theme in common will be performed in a summer concert.

Ryton Chorale will be airing their talents at St Anne’s Church Hall, Worksop, on July 11 at 7.30pm.

The programme includes Music to Hear by George Shearing, one of the world’s most famous jazz pianists and composers with over 300 songs to his name.

John Rutter’s Birthday Madrigals, which were specially written for a concert to honour Shearing on his 75th birthday in 1995, will also be performed.
