This year Retford Fake Festival is to be held in tribute to Retford soldier, Joshua Brown, who died in December after he was hit by a police car in Surrey.

Organisers have a strong connection with Joshua’s family and felt it would be a fitting tribute.

Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals, said: “With more places getting to enjoy some great live music courtesy of a festival rolling up right on their doorstep and some incredible new tribute acts lined up such as The Total Stone Roses, this year’s tour is already shaping up to be one of the best yet.”

Tickets for the festival are on sale online at www.fakefestivals.co.uk.
