Brampton Potteries Festival celebrates an industry which was a major employer in days gone by.

This year’s festival will be opened at midday on Saturday, July 11, by the mayor of Chesterfield and runs until Sunday, July 12.

The theme is Potty Britain which has fired the imagination of neighbours and businesses along Old Road, as well as the congregation at Gospel Mission Church, who have used pots, flowers and foliage to create displays including Last Night of the Proms and Stephenson’s Rocket.
