Patrons’ show of support

GAINSBOROUGH Theatre Company kicked off their 2012/13 season with a patron’s night at The Old Nick Theatre.

Supporters of the historic theatre and its resident amateur dramatics group turned out in their numbers for an entertaining evening.

They were treated to performances from members of the group, and enjoyed a sociable tipple and a chat.

The Old Nick Theatre is one of Lincolnshire’s most unique drama venues, located in a former Victorian police station.

The original court room is converted to hold an intimate 55 seater theatre, and the rest of the space holds rehearsal rooms, storage space, box office and bar.

Gainsborough Theatre Company have four plays this year, starting with The Edge Of Darkness by Brian Clemens from 24th - 29th September.
