Notts & South Yorks: Entries are now open for this year’s national Open Mic competition

Open Mic UK 2015 will be hosted at 15 regions across the UK and the competition will be searching to find the UK’s best singers, singer songwriters, rappers and vocal groups.

Entering Open Mic UK gives you the chance to perform on stage in front of music industry judges.

Open Mic UK is organised by Future Music, the company behind the discovery of artists such as Luke Friend and Karen Hardy both of which have had chart success this year, Jacob Banks, Warner Music’s Birdy, Columbia Record’s Lucy Spraggan, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley and Jahmene Douglas, both of whom are now signed to Sony Music.

Auditions take place around the country and will be at Sheffield City Hall on 30th August and Nottingham’s Britannia Hotel on 12th September.
