The band are at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on 24th November and the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on 28th November.

On both dates, as throughout the tour, support will come from the equally legendary Public Enemy.

“We are hyped to announce we have our old skool heroes Public Enemy joining us on our UK and European tour,” commented Prodigy main man Liam Howlett.

This year has seen The Prodigy blast back into the public consciousness with their chart-topping album The Day Is My Enemy, the sixth successive number one album the band has released.

It’s now 25 years since they first came to the world’s attention with singles like Charly and Outer Space before their second album, Music For The Jilted Generation, established them in the mainstream with tracks like One Love, No Good (Start The Dance), Poison, Voodoo People and Their Law.

However, it was their next album, 1997’s The Fat of the Land, proceeded by iconic single Firestarter, that made them a superpower.

The Fat of the Land also featured Breathe and was a worldwide chart-topper.

Their next three albums, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (2004), Their Law: The Singles (2005) and Invaders Must Die (2008), the latter featuring the single Omen, all topped the charts before The Day Is My Enemy made it six in a row this year.

Tickets for their Nottingham gig are available on 0843 3733000 www.capitalfmarena.com/online/theprodigy.
