The world renowned tale has been re-imagined into a wonderful fun-filled family pantomime.

Trio Entertainment are thrilled to announce that Kurtis Stacey, better known to millions as Emmerdale’s Alex Moss, will star as Peter Pan.

He will be joined by the 2012 X-Factor finalist Chris Maloney as Captain Hook and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Stephen Hall as Pirate Winkle.

Peter Pan tells the story of Peter, the boy who never grew up who lives in a far away land, (just past the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning) called Neverland.

When Wendy is told that she must leave the nursery and start acting like a grown up, Peter swoops in and along with her brothers, Michael and John, Wendy is whisked off to an action-packed adventure full of pirates, mermaids, the Lost Boys and Indians.

On their travels, the group encounter Peter’s long time enemy Captain Hook and battle commences.

Join Peter and Wendy on their fantastic adventure full of laughs, songs, brilliant sets and comedy routines where children young and old will believe that anything is possible.

Come and feel as though you never grew up whilst watching your little ones have the time of their lives this May.

Producer Kevin Brown said: “I’m so excited for Chris Maloney to join Kurtis and Stephen in the cast.”

“Chris has performed all over the world and I can’t wait for him to bring Captain Hook to life on stage.”

“Chris will be the best singing pirate in all of Pantoland.”

“Chris is also a brilliant actor and he’ll be a very convincing villain to boo and hiss as he tries to take over Neverland from Peter Pan.”

Kurtis Stacey graduated from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and is a regular on TV, mainly as Emmerdale heartbreaker Alex.

He has also appeared in the BBC hit series Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks.

Having recently played Jack in St Helen’s Theatre Royal’s Christmas production of Jack and the Beanstalk, he now adds Peter Pan to an already impressive resume of theatrical performances.

The star line up is completed by Britain’s Got Talent finalist Stephen Hall who made it to the final of the show in 2011.

“All I wanted to do was go on stage and entertain the crowd when I auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent,” he said.

“It didn’t occur to me that I would ever get through.”

But his routine wowed the judges, Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff, and even received a standing ovation from the audience.

Joining Chris, Kurtis and Stephen on stage will be local children from The Mob Junior section of Retford Amateur Operatic Society as the Lost Children.

Peter Pan is in Retford on 28th May at 2pm and 7pm
