New adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde launches season at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate

A new stage adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde will open the autumn season of drama at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel has been adapted by Nicholas Briggs (voice of Doctor Who’s Daleks).

The play, presented by TABS Productions and Theatre Royal Nottingham, focuses on a doctor intent on separating the good and evil in man. His experiments succeed but result in unleashing a monstrous and uncontrollable alter ego.

Robert Laughlin plays Dr Jekyll and Andrew Fettes is cast as Hyde in the production at the Pomegranate from September 3 to 5.
