Lincs: Sing along to Disney classic Frozen at the Baths Hall

Sing-a-long-a-Frozen is the latest must see in the smash hit series of shows that began with Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music, which has been touring the UK since 2000.

The audience is encouraged to attend in fancy dress before a live host leads the audience through what will happen, what the ‘magic moments’ are and does a vocal warm-up.

Everyone is given a free fun pack containing props that can be used during the show.

There is a fancy dress competition, where members of the audience who have dressed up are brought onto the stage and the rest of the audience judges the best one.

Small prizes are given to winners.

Then the film starts and the audience takes over.

They sing along (with lyrics on-screen), heckle and carry out the communal activities with the props.

There will also be flashing lights, a snow machine and balloons.

The event takes place next Tuesday and Wednesday (2nd and 3rd December) at 5.30pm on both nights, although tickets are almost sold out for the Wednesday show.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for children.

A family ticket for two adults and two children is £46 and a similar ticket for one adult and two children is £33.

And for anyone who misses out this time, there is a third Frozen sing-a-long event planned for 3pm on Saturday, 21st February next year.

Frozen is just one part of another varied line-up at the Baths Hall and Plowright Theatre this week.

On Saturday night (29th November), Epworth Performing Arts Society presents Born to Stand Out at 1pm and 6pm.

All tickets for both performances are £7.

Also on Saturday, the Baths Hall sees the return of the Scunthorpe Soul Night with some of the Northern Soul scene’s best loved DJs, including Kev Roberts (Wigan Casino/Blackpool Tower), Nige Brown and Sean Chapman (Kings Hall Stoke) and Snowy (Whitby Pavillion)

As well as Northern Soul and Motown classics, there will also be a downstairs lounge area with 70s and 80s soul hits from Luther Vandross, Sister Sledge, Dina Carroll and more.

The event starts at 9pm and tickets are £7 in advance and £9 on the door.
