Lincs: Horrible Histories and The Wizard of Oz at the Baths Hall

The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe has announced two major events for next spring – Horrible Histories and The Wizard of Oz.

First up, next April, follow the yellow brick road to the Baths Hall for an amazing Easter pantomime version of The Wizard of Oz, featuring an all-star cast to be announced in due course.

Join Kansas farm-girl Dorothy and her pet dog Toto on this magical adventure suitable for all ages.

Watch as they are picked up by a tornado and carried off to the magical land of Oz.

With help from their new friends the Munchkins, they to travel to the Emerald City where the great Wizard of Oz lives.

On their way they meet a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who desperately needs courage.

Will the wizard be able to help them before the Wicked Witch of the West captures them in her dungeon.

Shows will take place on 6th April at 2pm and 5.30pm.

Tickets are £19 for adults, £17 for children and £65 for family of four.

Then in May, get ready for history the way we all love to learn it – through hilarious comedy as Horrible Histories comes to town with two brand new shows, Groovy Greeks and Incredible Invaders.

We all want to meet people from history.

The trouble is with this, everyone you want to meet, tends to be dead.

But don’t worry, because the hugely successful Horrible Histories people have the answers.

Using actors and 3D special effects, these two world premieres are guaranteed to thrill you and your children.

Historical figures and events will come alive on stage and hover at your fingertips.

Horrible Histories is in town for nine shows between 10th and 14th May.

Show dates and times for Groovy Greeks are: 10th May (7pm), 11th May (10.30am), 12th May (7pm), 13th May (10.30am) and 14th May (7pm).

Tickets are £17 for adults, £13 for children and £52 for a family of four

A 20 per cent discount is available when buying for both titles.
