Half English and half Scottish, Elliott was born in Swindon and lived in Wales until the age of 11, when his family moved to Lincolnshire.

It was on Lincoln’s music scene where Elliott cut his teeth with one of his first solo shows coming at the Lincoln Folk Festival in 2007.

He has built a formidable reputation as one of the most sought-after young artists on the acoustic scene.

In 2013, he was presented with a popular Danny Kyle Award from Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.

Elliott’s original compositions marry complex guitar lines with heartfelt, honest vocals, combining elements of folk, roots, jazz and country.

Embracing the traditional and the contemporary, his sound has been described as ‘folk music for the 21st Century’.
