Kevin Mccarthy used to drive trucks until he decided to give comedy a go.

He’s never looked back and not only performs but also writes for TV and has appeared on many programmes as a comedian, a comic actor, and as a straight actor.

Growing up a half-Spanish lesbian in Norfolk was reason enough, Jen Brister, says, to not feel too guilty about never having performed political comedy.

It’s her Spanish mother, a die-hard socialist, rather than her neo-liberal English father, who’s her main influence.

Phil Nichol is an energetic and exciting performer with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work.

His skill as an improviser is unparalleled and with a surreal edge to some of his mischievous ranting’s, Nichol always brings something new to the stage whilst his keen sense of fun and eye for the shocking and absurd.
