Perfectly suited to the intimate local venue, the band have won critical acclaim for their unique blend of country, blues, folk and rock and have been given the stamp of approval by BBC Radio 2 presenters Terry Wogan and Bob Harris.

Originally from Bristol, the four-piece band burst onto the scene with a stand-out performance at the Glastonbury Festival.

They followed that with the release of their first album Fiction, Half-Truths and Downright Lies, which reached the top 20in the BBC indie charts.

Critics agree that the band – fresh from releasing their second album Money Tree a few weeks ag0 – can’t be pigeon holed into one musical box or another.

Fronted by vocalist Polly Perry with Andrew Steen on lead guitar alongside bass player Dan Everett and drummer Ben Perry, the band arrive in Letwell after a busy summer touring the length and breadth of Britain and performing on the festival circuit here and in France.

They are at Letwell village hall on Saturday, 13th September at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the show, priced £12 are available from Martyn Sharpe on 01909 731626 and Andy Swift on 01909 540694.
