Hide AdWith Cole Porter’s music and lyrics, Kiss Me Kate is a hugely popular entry in the musical theatre world.
This is mainly because of Porter’s stunning, hit-filled score with numbers like Why Can’t You Behave?, So In Love Am I, Tom, Dick or Harry, Were Thine That Special Face, Too Darn Hot, Brush Up Your Shakespeare, I Hate Men, Always True to You (In My Fashion) and Another Op’nin’, Another Show.
Kiss Me Kate was the first show Porter wrote where the lyrics and music were firmly connected to the script and it proved to be his biggest hit.
