Jubilation

The latest to announce plans is All Saints’ Parish Church. On Sunday 3rd June they invite you to a giant picnic in the church garden.

“It will be a brilliant day for the people of Gainsborough to bring blankets, deck chairs and picnics and share a fun afternoon together,” said church warden Joan Knight.

“We’re really hoping that the whole town can celebrate such a special day for our country and come together as a community. Even if it’s wet, we’ll have a great day, but eat our lunch inside the church.”

The Giant Gainsborough Picnic is part of the national Big Jubilee Lunch and beforehand there will be an outdoor Songs of Praise at 11am.
