Jon Richardson is checking his tyre pressures, hoovering his floor mats and putting an emergency packed lunch in the boot of his car, ready to hit the road again with a brand new tour Nidiot.

The perennial singleton and misanthrope is determined to become a more easygoing person - all for the sake of his friends and his future health.

So go along and find out whether or not a leopard can change its spots, or if they are doomed to be angry forever not to have been given a more uniform and symmetrical fur pattern.

Away from his live stand up, Jon is best known as team captain on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

His other recent TV credits include BBC1’s Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The 02 and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

A talented writer and best selling author, Jon’s debut book It’s Not Me It’s You was released in June 2011, to critical acclaim.

The book was based on Jon’s article for the Guardian’s Weekend Magazine, Valentine’s Day issue.

He has also hosted his own Sunday morning radio show on BBC 6 Music.

J on released his debut DVD - Funny Magnet - on 19th November last year from Universal Pictures .

Discussing the everyday items that have a profound effect on his outlook, Funny Magnet is Jon’s sell-out show that toured the UK in 2012.
