Impact Dance Troupe celebrates its birthday
Impact Dance Troupe celebrated its first birthday with the group’s first ever performance at Trent Valley Academy in Gainsborough.
The troupe started back in June 2011 and now have weekly sessions which draw in 20 – 30 dancers.
And Impact hopes to get even bigger over the next year, as they show off their routines to more and more people.
“The troupe gives the opportunity for boys and girls to learn dance or develop the skills they already have further,” said Claire Thompson, troupe leader.
“It has been a fantastic since we started, and anyone can join us from September.”

Lincolnshire Active Community Network (LACN) set up the group and are delighted with how it has been going.
Shane Ward from LACN said: “It is great to bring groups of young people together and see them performing as one. This is the culmination of all Claire’s and the performers’ hard work.”
