Hairy Bikers ready to race into Sheffield City Hall

Hairy Bikers, Si King and Dave Myers embark on a UK-wide live tour this autumn with their new show Larger than Live, which stops off at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday October 11 2012.

Presented by BBC Worldwide Live Events, enjoy an evening of laughter, high-jinks and most probably a bit of cooking on the side! Audiences will be regaled with tales from their culinary expeditions; some of which were hair-raising, many ridiculous but all of them share the Bikers’ inimitable style.

From extraordinary culinary discoveries to some of the remarkable cooks and characters they’ve encountered along the way, Si and Dave will take you behind the cameras to discover what happens on tour as they circle the globe in search of food fuelled adventure. Some special celebrity guests are lined up to join them on certain nights along the tour so you never know who might be coming for dinner.

It’s been two years since their last sell-out tour and the Hairy Bikers are eager and excited to get back on stage with their “bigger” and “bolder” show, “We like to do things a little differently from most” says Dave Myers, “which is why we’re not just giving you a show, we’re giving you a real night out… There will be a bit of dancing, a bit of flirting, a bit of singing, and some downright hilarious stand-up comedy. Filled with plenty of surprises, expect the unexpected…”

Each night of the tour will also feature a chance for one lucky audience member to enjoy a meal cooked live on stage by the Hairy Bikers.
