An Evening with Gervase Phinn has been touring theatres across the country for more than 10 years.

And it remains as hilarious and popular as ever.

Acclaimed as a best-selling and award winning author, radio and TV personality, Gervase Phinn really is at his best and most exciting in front of a live audience.
An Evening with Gervase Phinn will have you on the edges of your seats, as he shares his hilarious and sometimes poignant tales of life as a schools inspector in the Yorkshire Dales.

His best-known books include Classroom Creature, It Takes One to Know One, The Day Our Teacher Went Batty and Family Phantoms

His stories and memories have led to him being dubbed ‘the James Herriot of schools.’

Gervase taught in a range of schools for 14 years before becoming an education adviser and school inspector.

Over the years he has made many TV and radio appearances on shows like Today, Book of the Week and A Book at Bedtime (all Radio 4) Calendar and The Des O’Connor Show (both ITV) and Breakfast (BBC1).

With his keen ear for the absurd and sharp eye for the ludicrous, Gervase has delighted audiences all over the UK with stories of his experiences as a school inspector.

His shows have received rave reviews all across the country.
