Gainsborough: Choral Society to open new season with Haydn’s Creation at All Saints
Gainsborough Choral Society will perform Haydn’s Creation this weekend at All Saints’ Parish Church.
The piece was written at the end of the 18th Century and the oratorio is considered by many to be his masterpiece.
The choir will be joined by the Lincoln Pro Musica Orchestra and soloists from the Royal Northern College of Music.
Tenor Mike Wilde sings the part or Archangel Uriel.
The concert is on Saturday, November 14 at 7.30pm.
