Gainsborough: Choral Society marking war centenary with special concert at All Saints
Gainsborough Choral Society will be commemorating the start of the First World War with a special concert at All Saints Church on Saturday, 15th November.
The programme will feature Rutter’s Requiem, Haydn’s Mass in Time of War (Paukenmesse) and Elgar’s Nimrod, with soloists from the Royal Northern College of Music and the Lincoln Pro Musica Orchestra.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets priced £12 (£10 concessions) are available from Horsley’s Shop, on 01427 613014, or on the door.
