Viacom Studios, which makes programmes such as Cruising with Jane McDonald and Wonderful World of Chocolate are currently making a brand-new home style show for Channel 5 led by Nick Knowles.

The show aims to help people transform their homes into the kind of living space they have always wanted – using a team of expert designers.

Producers are looking for families from the area who need to declutter and redecorate their house.

Transformation of Worksop begins as councillors approve ambitious 'masterplan'

A researcher for the show said Worksop had been chosen because a recent survey found that a high percentage of people would rate themselves as a one out of ten for being tidy.

Applications close at the end of April.
