Film actors star in Pride and Prejudice at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre
James Northcote, who appeared in Oscar-winning film The Imitation Game, plays Mr Darcy in a stage adapation of Pride and Prejudice.
The production, which is running at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre until June 6, features Isabella Laughland as Elizabeth Bennett. Isabella played Leanne in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Jane Austen’s beloved story is filled with wit and passion and tells the story of quick witted, intelligent and idealistic Elizabeth Bennet. In a society bound by class and wealth, she longs to marry for love, not for financial convenience.
