Everton: Players ready to present new comedy It’s On – It’s Off! after seeing play live up to its name
The play It’s On – It’s Off!, which is being performed by the Everton Village Players, has lived up to its title already.
Ray Lawrence’s comedy was briefly taken off earlier this year.
But now it’s back on at Everton Village Hall next week.
Daphne and Gerald Humphreys are looking forward to their daughter Tina’s wedding, when an altercation over hats puts the ceremony in jeopardy.
Prospective mother-in-law Angela flies over from Australia only to throw another spanner in the works.
Robert, their dim son, arrives, and sexy Monica ensures that chaos is complete.
Suffice to say, audiences will be kept guessing to the end as to whether the wedding is on or off.
The play runs from next Wednesday to Saturday (29th October to 1st November) and tickets priced £6 (including programme) are available from the box office on 01777 817275, or www.evertonvillageplayers.co.uk
