That’s why members of STOS Theatre Company are all wrapping up warm and getting ready for the big chill.

Mark Harris, Rachel Hemstalk, Jenny Horsefield, Sue Mc Cormick are Chesterfield based members of the cast of Irving Berlin’s legendary White Christmas, the festive favourite which comes to Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from November 11 to 15.

With over £100,000 invested in the production, it will be one of the most expensive shows ever seen at the Lyceum stage.

Based on the 1954 movie classic, White Christmas is the story of song and dance men, singing sisters and their adventures as they stage a Broadway hit in a ski lodge.

Although director John Cumberlidge isn’t saying how he’s going to influence the weather, snow is guaranteed at the end of every evening.
