Dinnington: Operatic society’s open audition for Annie production

Their next production will be the full Broadway version of Annue and will have all the brilliance, glamour and cuteness of the original production which opened in 1977 and ran for nearly six years.

The society is looking for new members, aged between seven and 60, to cast. All volunteers need to a desire and interest to perform.

They are looking for two girls to play Annie and will also be looking to cast the rest of the show, from the smallest Orphan Molly, Daddy Warbucks and Miss Hannigan from our open auditions. Everyone plays a part in the shows as part of the ensemble or appearing in many different scenes.

It is an open call, so anyone can come however those attending will be required to fill out the relevant forms prior to attending the audition. These can be found on the society’s website www.dinningtonoperatics.org.

The show will run from 6th – 11th October 2014 at The Lyric Theatre in Dinnington.

The adult auditions will be held on 30th March at the Anston Park Junior School and the children’s auditions will be on 6th April at Dinnington Resource Centre.
