Company’s recruitment drive inrun-up to Superstar production

Ripley and Alfreton Musical Theatre Company will perform the world famous musical at Alfreton Grange Arts College from April 4 to 9 next year.

Kate Viles, chairman of the company, said: “The musical relies heavily on a strong male cast. This year we have lost a lot of our young members to college and university so we are looking for men to fill a variety of roles within the show.

“Being part of an amateur theatre company is great, not only do we stage award-winning productions we also have fun whilst doing so. I would encourage anyone to come along to one of our rehearsals to meet us and have a go.”
