Back for its fourth year, QUAD’s Summer Nights Film Festival 2014 will present films on a giant outoor creen for a unique cinematic experience.
This year’s tour returns to Derbyshire venues Kedleston Hall, Calke Abbey, Hardwick Hall, as well as Wollaton Hall in Nottinghamshire, and a new venue for 2014 – Belton House in Lincolnshire.
The Dark Knight Rises, director Christopher Nolan’s return to Gotham City with Christian Bale’s Batman, was shot in the grounds of Wollaton Hall.
And the film will play out on a giant screen at the iconic venue on Sunday 24th August.
Gravity will screen at Wollaton on 22nd August, and Grease – the original high school musical – will be shown on 23rd August.
Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire is set to show Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Dirty Dancing on 29th and 30th August respectively.
Calke Abbey hosts two screenings, the Wicker Man and The Great Gatsby, on 8th and 9th August.
And the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Gravity will be shown at Kedleston Hall on 25th and 26th July.
At Grantham’s Belton House, the classic Casablanca will air on 12th September, and sing-a-long feel good affair Mamma Mia! plays out the next day.
Tickets for the screenings are now available to book in advance at a discounted ‘early bird’ rate of £10.50 if purchased up to six weeks in advance of any screening.
The earlybird price is also available at any time for group bookings of four or more people.
After the advance period, standard tickets cost £12 per person per screening, while tickets for children aged under five years are free.
Tickets are available at each venue or from QUAD, although earlybird tickets are only available through QUAD Box office.
