Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir performs concert in Worksop

Many thrilling choral masterpieces these days can only be heard on State occasions, in cathedrals or at major concert halls.

But on June 27, Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir under musical director Steven Roberts and with organist Richard Quarmby, will create just such an occasion at The Crossing in Worksop.

The evening will include Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Parry’s I Was Glad, choruses such as Vivaldi’s Gloria and the Hallelujah and Saint-Saens Organ Symphony.

The concert is at 7.30pm. Tickets £10 (£8 concessions, £4 under-16s). Contact 01909 475421 or email: info@
