Chamber music festival...

The Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival has announced its 2012 festival programme.

Artistic director, pianist Ashley Wass, explains the Notes from Nature theme: “This year’s theme explores the natural world as a source of inspiration for composers through the centuries.”

“From Biber’s comical imitations of the animal world in the 1600s to Sally Beamish’s haunting evocation of a 20th Century post-war battlefield, we traverse hundreds of years of music through seven concerts.”
