Carlton-in-Lindrick: Red Riding Hood provided plenty of panto laughs for the audience
The Lindrick Players have done it again with their fantastic pantomime Little Red Riding Hood.
The show was filled with catchy musical numbers and entertaining dance routines.
Becky Walters, as Red Riding hood, showed great confidence in both her singing and acting, as did Lucy Mallaby as Billy the woodcutter’s son.
Richard Hinchliffe was outstanding, as the Big Bad Wolf, while the three little pigs, played by Angela Foster, Sarah Edgar, and Helene Sprowell, stole the show with the fantastic ‘trump off’
John Hitchen, as Dame Robyn Hood, did a worthy job in his first ever panto, while Shannon Pressley, as the fairy, and Lydia Sharpe and Chloe Laurence, as Jack and Jill, showed great potential as young performers.
Sarah Hemsall, as Mickey the woodcutter, who provided many comic moments, as did Glenys Croston as Granny – her broad Northern accent was especially funny.
