South African singer-songwriter and blues-rock guitarist Dan Patlansky has a gig in Sheffield as part of a select tour of the UK.

He performs at The Greystones on Tuesday, April 28, the day after the UK release of his latest album.

Dan’s offering, Dear Silence Thieves is his seventh release to date and has already been voted number one on the Blues Rock Reviews’ Top 20 Blues Albums of 2014 poll.

His biggest gig was when he was chosen by Bruce Springsteen to perform in front of 64,000 people in Johannesburg as part of Springsteen’s High Hopes tour.

Last year also saw Dan headline festivals in Norway and Denmark.
