Sheffield Lyceum will host next week’s presentation by acclaimed company Kneehigh Theatre.

The story revolves around newly-married Maxim de Winter who returns to Manderley with his new young bride. Surrounded by memories of the glamorous first wife, who died in mysterious circumstances, the new Mrs De Winter is consumed by jealousy. She sets out to uncover the secrets of the house and a past fiercely guarded by the sinister housekeeper Mrs Danvers and soon discovers all is not what it seems in Manderley…

Award-winning director Emma Rice has created an entrancing new production of the iconic novel which conjures Cornish romance and theatrical magic.
