It’s Christmas and Beth (Jane Wheatley) is mourning the recent death of her husband, Gordon.

Her son Martin (Will Wheatley) has come to stay and so has Connie (Alison Legg), her sister in law.

They are both determined that Beth has a stress free Christmas, but Connie’s drinking problem and Martin’s unspeaking girlfriend (Helen Shepherd), make that impossible.

Only David (Graham Hadley), the local vicar, provides Beth with any comfort, but when he says a prayer for her bereavement, he unwittingly summons Gordon’s ghost to return – an event not altogether welcome.

Tickets priced £8 (£7 concessions, £24 for evening buffet performance on 24th May) are available from Spar on Station Road Bawtry.
