American singer on Letwell stage

Anna Coogan, who hails from New England and has four acclaimed albums to her name, is heading to the village as part of her European tour.

Anna, who has a big following either side of the Atlantic, trained as an opera singer but changed musical direction entirely after going to see blue grass country legend Alison Krauss in concert.

Anna’s songs – delivered in a crystal clear voice – draw inspiration from the sea, and a childhood immersed in the music of her native, maritime land.

Italian guitarist Daniele Fiaschi, who Anna recorded alongside while in Rome over Easter, will appear alongside Anna at Letwell Village Hall on Saturday 22nd September.
