The group has been going for more than 10 years, and their recent performance of Another Eggcellent Expedition on Saturday 4th August was a huge success.

The plot followed three explorers who embark on an adventure in the jungle.

Along the way, they come across a legend that could change their lives forever.

Will they uncover the truth about the legend? And in the remotest part of the jungle, who can the trust?

Should they take advice from the questionable manager of The Crummy Hotel or join forces with the indigenous jungle tribesmen?

One thing is for sure, the explorers are not alone in the pursuit of the legend.

As word spreads, it reaches for the seas, where deceiving pirates are hungry for gold.

Act Now treasurer, Ann Knight, said: “Thanks must go to the production team, Joanne Gerrish, David Thornley and Rebecca Lewis.”

“Thank you also to West Lindsey District Council, the Trinity Arts Centre and everyone who contributed raffle prizes.”

“And of course the audience whose comments were very encouraging.”

“On the night we raised £220 between the raffle, donations and the sale of handmade cards.”

Act Now! meet on Mondays at Trinity Arts Centre from 6pm - 8pm.

The group works on short plays and performs them throughout the year at the Arts Centre.
