A TAG rugby tournament gave Worksop primary school pupils a chance to play against their future classmates at Portland School.
The competition, organised for schools that feed the Netherton Road secondary school, saw three compete to play at a district-wide tournament on 16th June.
Event organiser Carol Parker explained that the children would all be going to Portland School together.
"Teams from Priory School, Gateford Park and Ryton Park all competed and it went really well," she said.
The winning team was Priory School followed by Gateford Park in second place.
