Whiplash is not so minor

IN YOUR report about the collision at Carburton, it states: '...sustained minor whiplash injuries...'
I can reassure you that there is nothing minor about a ‘whiplash injury’. Whiplash is not normally detectable at the time of any accident, it is a condition that normally appears 24 hours after the initial accident.

It is a serious condition that if not treated correctly can lead to paralysis, or other serious neurological problems.

I know as I had a whiplash injury and two years later lost my job, and have been unable to work since because of the associated problems.

You can see why I feel very aggrieved that a serious problem is trivialised in such a way.

Also, shock, if not treated seriously can also be a killer, and I would recommend anybody that feels unwell involved in any accident or incident ensure the matter is dealt with properly.
