IN REPLY to 'Mark Hett' last week, who suggested that a car boot sale should be set up in Worksop marketplace.
Has Mr Hett been up to the Tuesday flea market lately?

We are really struggling with sales. A car boot on a Sunday would kill our Tuesday market.

It's been sparse, but people are coming back now. I've stood on the market for over 17 years.

We've had it bad before, but, hey, the weather is getting better.

We need something like the Charter Day market at Retford, or a big town centre gala, but who will run it?

Bring some clowns and buskers in, like Sheffield... but please, no car boots!

AN OLD MARKET TRADER
