I would just like to respond to the recent publicity surrounding the Household Recycling Centre in Worksop.
I have used the centre on numerous occasions and have found Bob and Trev, the site operatives there, most helpful.

I feel the problem lies with the signage, not the operatives implementing the regulations. If members of the public were clear on what was allowed to be taken to the site, it would help!

Are there any notices stating that trailers and trade vehicles are not allowed?

We should be contacting the council and the company that run the site to ensure that the guidelines are clear, not taking it out on the operatives who do this thankless task enforcing these regulations.
