A NEW library in 2012 is a splendid idea and it is being mooted by county and district councillors that the old one will be preserved.
Do not let us kid ourselves, I have already had a word with Coun Glynn Gilfoyle about the state of the present area, which is supposed to be used and maintained by county council.

It is an utter disgrace. Rags hanging at the broken window panes, now the rot has set in – how long before the vandals finish the job?

May I have the temerity to suggest that allowances given to councillors be spent, instead of on parties, on preserving the building for future generations?
