A nightmare shopping trip

I decided to write to your letters page after my outrage at my recent visit to Worksop town centre.
Today (Monday), while walking through the town centre, I was unfortunate enough to be near three youths who decided to have a fight.
In the middle of this was not, however, the best place, because it resulted in myself being knocked to the floor, shopping and all.
A lovely couple helped me up andthey sat me, a little shaken, on the seat outside Greggs.
Once I regained my composure, I decided I should get away from the fight that was still going on.
However, when I got to my feet, I found I had sat in the remains of a pie that someone had spread all over the seat.
Where are the police in this town? Not just to stop these thugs, but to fine all the people who leave their rubbish all over the place, without a thought for others.
Next time I’m going to Meadowhall, as I feel safer.
