Friday will be a sad night at Worksop Regal, but also full of laughs.
It is the last ever Final Friday Comedy Club on 29th July, but the show is going out with a bang with a night of Edinburgh Festival previews.
Headliner Andrew Lawrence will preview material from his forthcoming Edinburgh show The Best Kept Secret In Comedy.
He already has a legion of fans following his bleak dark comic world.
Next up is Damion Larkin who quit stockbroking’s fast lane for comedy’s slow lane, he wonders if he’s done the right thing – goodbye salary, girlfriend and house. Hello dressing gown, procrastination and dreaming.
Then there are film-obsessed musings from rising star Freddy Quinne. And not forgetting compere Anthony J Brown who cuts a unique on-stage presence with black humour and dapper attire.
Doors open 7pm. Tickets are £8 full, £6 concessions. Box office 01909 474 458.
