A TALENTED youngster from Worksop delighted audiences and judges at a national music competition and is one of the few to have made it through to the next round.
Nancy Eves, 14-year-old starlet, says she is proud to have made it through to the next stage of the Live and Unsigned competition after impressing judges at Sheffield City Hall.
“It was a really good day,” said Nancy. “It was mainly bands in the competition and not many solo artists, so I wasn’t sure if I had a chance, but I was one of only six out of loads on the day to get through to the next stage of the heats.”
“This feels great because I never thought I could even get this far. I’m just so happy and would like to thank the judges for putting me through because I never dreamed of this and I just love music so much. I’m absolutely thrilled.”
Nancy added: “I’m just trying to get as much support as I can and bring along as many people as possible for next time.”
